Welcome to Windermere

Windermere Golf Club is situated in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage English Lake District National Park. Despite our tranquil setting, we're less than 5 minutes from the bustling town of Bowness on Windermere and only 1.5 miles from the shore of Lake Windermere.

A 132 year history
Established in 1891, our course is steeped in history and offers a unique challenge to golfers of all abilities whilst offering spectacular and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Everyone is welcome
A truly friendly welcome for members and visitors is assured, whether coming to play the course or enjoy a drink, or bite to eat in the bar.
